This winery is located in Hill Country in Wimberley, Texas. The winery is modeled after old Tuscan wineries and specializes in Italian wines. In addition to wines, Bella Vista also grows olives, and produces olive oil. They give tours of the winery to the public, which includes a tour of the olive oil company, and allows tour goers to taste a variety of products.

Flat Creek Estate

This winery is also located in Hill Country in Austin, Texas. This winery features an old world tasting room, where as a visitor you can sample some of their award wining wines grown from Italian, Portuguese, and Rhone grapes. Or you can enjoy a picnic lunch among the various patios and ponds on this 20-acre winery and vineyard. You can even book a room at Vintner’s Lodge and stay overnight.

Delaney Vineyards

This vineyard has two locations, both in North Texas and owned by vintner Jerry Delaney. These two adjacent Lamesa, Texas vineyards are host to the Delaney Vineyards and Winery Harvest and Grape stomp every August. During this popular event you can sample some of their award wining vines, and participate in the winemaking process by stomping on some of their Cynthiana grapes. They also host evenings of music and wine during the spring, summer, and fall months.

Duchman Family Winery

This Driftwood Texas winery has only been in existence since 2004, but it has already made a name for itself among Texas wineries. The majority of their fruit comes from the Texas High Plains, which accounts for part of the reason why their wine is so popular. At the winery, you can visit the tasting room or take a tour of the expansive grounds.

Pedernales Cellars

This winery is located in Stonewall, which is located about an hour from Austin. As a visitor to this winery, you can explore the vast grounds or enjoy a wine tasting in their newly expanded tasting room. While there, be sure to try their Texas Tempranillos, Dallas Morning News’s pick for the best Texas red wine.
