We want to get to know you better — your likes, habits, hobbies, etc.
The Thanksgiving Holiday is the busiest travel time of the year. With the roads and highways filling up, will you be traveling in your RV this Thanksgiving?
Live in Jacksonville, FL – taking or Coachman Apex to Stephen Foster State Park in GA for the holiday. Our boys and their dogs will be joining us…. first Thanksgiving we’ve ever done at a campsite. I have 3 stacks of firewood…
We’re full-time RVers. Will stay in Jacksonville, FL area while visiting with our daughter over Thanksgiving week. We’re retired. Hobbies include amateur radio – talk with people all over the country and get together with them when we’re in their area, as well as at special gatherings.
Hi Selene…. Yes, NOT the best driving time of the year… but we will be jumping-off I-10 West, near Jacksonville, and taking some back roads to GA. It’s about a 90 mile trip plus we will hopefully be leaving home by noon. My wife & I are still working – purchased our Coachman a few months ago so that we could “ease into” retirement. We too enjoy meeting new campers (as they are the world’s most friendly people!!).
Hi Selene! Enjoy the visit with your daughter while you are celebrating Thanksgiving. We bet you do get to meet a lot of fun and interesting people through your hobby. Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels.
We are Canadian, but Happy Thanksgiving anyway. It is freezing here and lots of snow. No RV ing until spring.
